How do opposites coexist within the same landscape? Nature carries the traces of human presence. A landscape is never only what we see. Beneath it lies what has been extracted, discarded, transformed and left behind.

Industrial waste meets volcanic earth and sand. Through accumulation, removal and fire, different materials become one. The work exists between what is made and what is found. Between destruction and creation. Between what we leave behind and what remains. What we discard does not disappear. It becomes part of the new landscape.

Oxymoron, between nature and industry.
