Inspired by Rachel Carson’s book Silent Spring, this collection is born from my journey to Patagonia, where I encountered plastic waste nestled within untouched wilderness. It exposes a landscape reality: no place is remote enough to escape human trace, just as our inner landscapes carry unexpressed burdens we fail to perceive.

Here, discarded plastics act as a material metaphor for hidden emotional states. By physically embedding these found materials directly into the tactile skin of the paintings, fusing them with earth and geological matter, the landscape is rewritten. Materiality becomes a site of transition where waste is transformed to restore ecological and inner balance.
