Laura Canal is an abstract painter from Barcelona who explores the dialogue between our current ecosystem and its connection to our inner geographies. Her work incorporates pure organic elements and residues gathered from nature. She transforms them into textures that form the skin of her paintings, pushing the limits of their materiality. She is drawn to the coexistence of duality in both the environment and within ourselves, painting not only to reflect it but also to understand and question it.
